"no, we don't sell raw ingredients any more. Do you mean to say you still mix your own glaze?" Well, yes, I said. And I do cone 10 reduction firing, and wood firing as well as raku. He looked really surprised, so I said maybe I'm a bit of a dinosaur - and he didn't disagree.
So here's a question for ceramicists: Do you still make your own glazes from raw ingredients?
